The Federal Government on Tuesday puts up a strong defence in favour of National Water Resources Bill 2020 as it emphasized that the proposed law is in best interests of Nigerians. Lai Mohammed and Suleiman Adamu, the Minister of Information and Culture and the Minister of Water Resources, indicated that that the laws are being re-packaged as the National Water Resources Bill with necessary modifications to bring them in line with current global trends and as best practices in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM).
